Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In a separate small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the coating.
Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
Dip the dough squares into the cinnamon-sugar mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
Cook in batches, turning frequently, until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side).
Add more oil between batches if needed. While still warm, coat each piece in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Serve immediately with honey or chocolate sauce on the side.
Notes
Keep leftovers refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in a toaster oven or skillet to regain crispness.
