Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Cooking Oil

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Asiago cheese, grated

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden on each side and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in the Asiago cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to reheat the chicken.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply warm it up in a skillet over low heat until heated through.
