  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir the cooked beef and onions into the egg mixture, then fold in the cheddar cheese.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden and set.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Feel free to add extra cheese on top if desired. Serve with ketchup or mustard for added flavor.
