Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan well with butter or nonstick spray.
In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and yellow cake mix until well combined. Stir until no dry pockets remain; the batter will be thick.
Fold in the chocolate chips gently so they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
Notes
Store baked bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze cut bars in a single layer.
