Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the water, unsalted butter, flour, salt, and eggs to form a smooth dough.
In a separate small bowl, have the powdered sugar ready for coating.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat.
Use a piping bag to pipe the dough into circular shapes into the hot oil, ensuring to allow any excess dough to drip off.
Cook in batches, turning frequently, until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes).
Add more oil between batches if needed.
While still warm, coat each cruller in the powdered sugar mixture.
Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Keep leftovers refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in a toaster oven or skillet to regain crispness.
