Graham Crackers
Whole or 24 halves if using split sheets.
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine the pudding mix and whole milk. Whisk together off the heat until smooth.
Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens (about 5 to 7 minutes). Remove from heat once it reaches a gentle boil.
Let the pudding cool slightly for 3 to 5 minutes.
In a 9x9-inch baking dish, arrange half of the graham cracker squares in a single layer.
Pour half of the chocolate pudding mixture over the first layer of graham crackers.
Layer the remaining graham cracker squares on top of the pudding.
Pour the rest of the pudding mixture over the second layer of graham crackers.
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Once chilled, slice into squares and serve. Top with whipped cream or mini marshmallows if desired.
Notes
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. Can freeze individual portions for up to 1 month.
