Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined and slightly glossy.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Spoon the brownie batter into the mini muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
In a separate bowl, mix together the mini chocolate chips, brown sugar, and a little bit of the leftover brownie batter to form the cookie dough.
Add small dollops of the cookie dough on top of each brownie bite in the muffin tin.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly underbaked.
Let them cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Store cooled bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
