Instructions
In a bowl, mix the crushed chocolate cookies with melted unsalted butter until the crumbs are evenly moistened. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan to form an even crust. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until completely smooth and free of lumps. Scrape down the sides as needed.
In a separate chilled bowl, whip the cold heavy whipping cream with vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture in two additions, being careful not to overmix.
Stir in the crushed Cadbury Flake bars gently, distributing them through the mousse without crushing them further.
Spread the mousse evenly over the chilled cookie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Sprinkle the crumbled Cadbury Flake bars over the mousse for a decorative finish.
Cover the tart with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for a firmer set.
Serve chilled, adding optional shaved dark chocolate on top just before serving.
