Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 8 links breakfast sausage, cooked Make sure to fully cook the sausage links beforehand.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Feel free to use different cheese types.
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
  • Place a sausage link and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up the dough around the sausage and cheese, starting at the wide end and moving towards the point, to form a crescent shape.
  • Place the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and dried parsley. Brush this mixture over the top of each crescent roll.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

These rolls are best served warm, right out of the oven. Enjoy with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
