2piecesRipe bananasPeeled and sliced into pieces (about 200 g total)
150gBlueberriesFresh or frozen, rinsed if fresh
200gPlain yogurtChilled, full-fat or Greek for extra creaminess
2tablespoonsHoneyAdjust to taste, room temperature
250mlAlmond milkCold, or any milk of your choice
Instructions
Peel and slice the ripe bananas into pieces. Smaller slices blend faster and help the smoothie become creamy more quickly.
In a blender, add the banana slices, blueberries, plain yogurt, honey, and almond milk. Add frozen blueberries directly from the freezer — no need to thaw.
Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds or until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape the sides if needed to ensure everything is fully incorporated.
Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey if needed. If the smoothie is too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons more almond milk and blend again for 10 seconds.
Pour into glasses and garnish with extra blueberries or banana slices for a pretty finish. A sprinkle of chia seeds or a few granola crumbs adds a nice crunch.
Serve immediately and enjoy! Smoothies are at their best fresh, while flavors are bright and texture is perfect.
Notes
For a protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder or 1–2 tablespoons of nut butter.
