Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In another bowl, combine applesauce and granulated sugar until well mixed.
Gradually add the dry mixture into the applesauce mixture, stirring until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. It’s delicious on its own or topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
